Atlantis The Palm in Dubai gets a luxurious sister

The iconic Atlantis The Palm Hotel in Dubai is getting a sister. In October this year the spectacular Atlantis The Royal will open its doors. The new hotel can also be found on Palm Jumeirah, the famous island in the shape of a palm tree.

“The new hotel focuses on the luxurious and ultra-luxurious guest”, according to sales director Sascha Vaupal. The 1,4 billion and 43-storey property will include 231 luxury apartments, 693 hotel rooms and 146 suites. Naturally, there won’t be a shortage of luxury entertainment and attractions either; the hotel will feature 90 swimming pools, including a rooftop infinity pool, a wellness facility, the largest jelly fish tank in the world just and worlds first fire-meets-water fountain. Guests can pick their dining spot out of the 17 restaurants and bars available, with eight of them housing award-winning celebrity chefs.

Over the past seven years, a lot of effort has been put into developing the hotel, which is a 20-minute walk from Atlantis The Palm. The hotel will accept bookings from January 2023, but the first guests are expected to be able to move in as early as October this year.
