Club Med Pragelato Sestriere reopens

Club Med Pragelato Sestriere, located in the heart of the Piedmont region at an altitude of 1600m, will reopen its doors this winter after renovation and extension works.

The Resort offers direct access to the 400 km of slopes of Via Lattea, the largest ski area in Italy. The cable car to the ski station of Sestriere also departs from here.

Skiing, snowboarding, off-piste skiing and cross-country skiing are standard options. In addition, guests can also opt for a hike with snow rackets, Nordic walking, or even more sensational experiences such as a husky ride or an evening walk.

NEW CHARACTERISTIC PIEMONTAN CHALETS

Club Med Pragelato Sestriere was built in 2006 for the Turin Winter Olympics. As of this winter, the Resort has 17 new chalets with 105 spacious and sunny rooms. The decor in these new rooms is a nod to the surrounding nature. The Resort has a total of 82 larch wooden chalets with a gable roof, in the characteristic architectural style of the region. In addition, a number of chalets now also have solar panels on the roof.

ITALIAN GASTRONOMY

The Club Med Pragelato Sestriere menus will also be renewed in 2022. Gourmet Lounge La Trattoria has been expanded and completely redesigned. After a day on the slopes, families can enjoy the view on the terrace under a blanket. The new bar undoubtedly attracts groups of friends who want to enjoy a dash of music and a cozy aperitivo after skiing.

The cosy, warm atmosphere of the renovated restaurant La Tana is ideal for a dinner for two
or among friends. On a culinary level, guests can enjoy the best regional dishes with matching local wines.

In addition, in its all-inclusive formula, Club Med offers all guests – skiers and hikers alike – the opportunity to have lunch or dinner in a selection of mountain restaurants.

BEAUTY & WELLNESS

After the renovations of the Spa by Payot in this Italian Resort, guests will experience even more comfort and tranquility. The spa now also offers a manicure and pedicure, a nice addition to the existing range of facials and body treatments.

Another interpretation of me-time is, for example, a visit to the Finnish sauna, swim a few lengths in the heated indoor swimming pool or change your mind in the Resort’s new fitness room.
