First Dutch Element Hotel opens in Amsterdam

The first Dutch Element Hotel opened its doors today in Amsterdam. The brand – launched in 2008 by Starwood – now has two Element Hotels in Europe, with the Element Frankfurt Airport in addition to Amsterdam.

The hotel is located on Gelderlandplein, near the Amsterdam Buitenveldert business district in Amsterdam Zuid. Element Amsterdam is suitable for a long stay in Amsterdam because of its location, but with Schiphol Airport 15 minutes away it is also suitable for short stay.

Element Amsterdam consists of 160 eco-friendly studios and suites equipped with a full kitchen. The hotel has a fitness center where exercise is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. There is also a restaurant and bar, and 24-hour access to nutritious grab-and-go snacks.

Starwood will not operate the hotel itself, but has signed an agreement with Bari Gruppe, which also operates the Element in Frankfurt.
