According to the latest report from the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA), Paris is again ranked #1 as a business travel destination. With a total of 212 international meetings last year meeting ICCA’s criteria, it organized 40 more events than runner up Vienna. The opening of the Paris Convention Centre in late 2017 at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles congress complex certainly contributed to this. They are now the largest conference venue in Europe and have been able to directly host some important European and international conferences.

Every day, about 300 events a day take place in Paris. From annual toppers like the Fête de la Musique and Museum Night, there are major art exhibitions in every style, gourmet festivals, major sporting events. Trade fairs that are open to both professionals and consumers like Maison du Chocolat or the Paris Air Show also attract many visitors.
