Transportation and accessibility

Text: Salzburg Airport is the second largest airport in Austria and one of the five largest in the Alps. Reach the destination quickly and easily with a quick 15-minute transfer to the city center and 120 minutes to all Alpine regions in the Salzburger Land. In addition, the Munich airport is only 180 kilometers from the city of Salzburg, also reachable in about two hours. And the smooth train and highway connections also ensure a quick arrival.

Since summer 2021, Transavia has offered direct flights from Amsterdam year-round, but Salzburg is also connected to hubs throughout Europe. In addition, Salzburg offers slots for chartered aircraft with slots early in the morning and late in the evening, which is an absolute USP in the alpine regional airport landscape.
