Munckhof Groups & Incentives and software developer TravelSpirit have spent the past few months working on the optimization and implementation of Munckhof’s new CRM and booking system.
The merger of Munckhof Groups Desk and MGI Travel at the beginning of this year was the perfect opportunity for Munckhof to renew its entire CRM and booking system together with TravelSpirit. The corona crisis seemed to throw a spanner in the works for a while, but eventually proved to bring out the best in both organizations. Last week, during the final “1.5-meter implementation day,” the collaboration was rewarded with the live move to the new system.
When in mid-March, the day before the first implementation day was due to start, the intelligent lockdown in the Netherlands was announced, this project also seemed to be at a standstill. Thanks to the decisiveness of both organizations, the shoulders were set and the project was launched online. A handsome job for two organizations, which are in a hard hit industry.
“From the beginning of the cooperation, they looked at what could be done and not what could not be done. Setting up a new CRM and booking system is an extensive job involving many disciplines. Thanks to the flexibility and positive energy of the project group, consisting of about 20 people, we were able to bring it to a successful conclusion. We really did it together” says Sander de Rooij, director of TravelSpirit.
