Presentation: all about Switzerland as a MICE destination

Those who did not yet know that Switzerland is a great destination for meetings, incentives, conferences and events can visit Amsterdam on Thursday, October 8. The Swiss Tourist Board will then hold a hybrid event in Felix Meritis.

The event, which is partly live and partly online in a studio, is organized by the Switzerland Convention & Incentive Bureau (SCIB). The meeting is designed for meeting, incentive and convention (MICE) providers.

The program, which begins at 3 p.m., includes speakers from a variety of backgrounds.

Journalist Yvo van Regteren Altena talks about his connection with Switzerland. He recently traveled there with Jort Kelder, in their oldsmobile.

Karin Breitenstein tells more about the origins of winter tourism, over 150 years ago, in Engadin St.Moritz.
In addition, there are presentations from hotels, such as the Hotel Nira Alpina in Silvaplana and the Radisson Blu Hotel Reussen Andermatt.

There is also a presentation on Lucerne, nicknamed Little Switzerland, the city next to the lake and among the mountains.
Katja Staartjes, the first Dutch woman to climb Mount Everest, is keynote speaker. She takes visitors to the world’s highest peaks and links them to issues of collaboration and personal leadership.

The meeting will last from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Felix Meritis can be found at Keizersgracht 324 in Amsterdam.
