The first phase of the extensive restoration of the Pulitzer Amsterdam canal hotel has been completed. Today, the Keizersgracht section reopened to guests and eighty hotel rooms and suites are available.
The inspiration for the new design was drawn from the history of the 25 joined canal houses that make up the hotel. The properties, dating back to the 17th and 18th centuries, have been restored to combine the original, historic canal house components with modern and luxurious aspects.
The second phase of the renovation has started and will be completed by the end of 2016. Upon completion of the renovation, the hotel, located in the middle of Nine Streets, offers 225 rooms and suites.
