Travelmediate launches MICE event: ‘The Roadshow’

Travelmediate is putting on another informal MICE event this fall. The theme “Roadtrip” introduces a different take on the traditional get togethers on travel: an experience from the professionals’ point of view of what can be organized there. The Roadshow will take place on September 17 at the Corendon Village Hotel which is known for having an extraordinary Boeing 747 in its backyard.

The day starts at the airplane where the “plenary part” is handled and with a very special (mystery) Keynote speaker of international level. During the so-called speed dating sessions, new contacts are made and existing relationships with dmc’s, airlines are maintained. The 2nd half of the day, the group of invited guests headed by their own buses to the new Corendon Beach Club in Zandvoort which has the focus to be given a long life as the new Mice Beach Venue. A new Mice element of Travelmediate is Corporate gifting (reword program). Invitees will be informed about this in detail. Of course, there is plenty of room for networking and business and, of course, at the safe distance from each other.

MICE on The Road

The name “The Roadshow” says it all: Travelmediate’s MICE event went on a journey, visiting the cities of Archachon, Bilboa, San Sebastian and Lisbon. ‘With this new format, we want to give the industry a different perspective on travel during COVID,’ said Raymon Honings, Travelmediate. ‘Travel is so much more than a regular excursion or ticking off popular sights. It’s about experience. And the best way to experience a destination is from the perspective of the locals. Our DMCs know their ‘home’ like no other. With this edition of The Roadshow, we want to show how the MICE industry could be more responsive to this.”
