Grand Hotel Huis ter Duin wins HelmsBriscoe Partner Independent Hotel of the Year Award 2021
During the HelmsBriscoe EMEA Annual Team Meeting at Grand Hotel Huis ter Duin, the family hotel received the HelmsBriscoe Independent Hotel of the Year Award. HelmsBriscoe’s associates cast their votes ahead of the meeting. It is the second time that Huis ter Duin has won the award. They previously took home the Partner Independent Hotel of the Year 2018 from Berlin.

Coen van Veen, International Sales Director of Huis ter Duin, says he is proud of the team. “It has been an honor to host the HelmsBriscoe EMEA Annual Team Meeting. Now that this award has been added, we are even more honored. It’s nice to come back after a corona period where business events have come to a halt. It is a tribute to the hard work of my colleagues.” Van Veen previously won “Partner Hotel Property Sales Person of the Year 2018”.

Meeting with purpose
HelmsBriscoe is a global location sourcing company. The company streamlines meeting and event planning for corporate organizations by taking on the time-consuming task of researching, contacting, and evaluating venues for corporate events. At the HelmsBriscoe EMEA Annual Team Meeting 2022, Associates and hotel partners came together to meet, inspire and plan for future events. This included various workshops, such as the beach cleanup, in which the Associates cleaned up the Noordwijk beach together. The beach cleanup was supervised by Target Earth Foundation and Grondstofjutters. The downtown area of ​​Noordwijk and the beach were cleaned up by HelmsBriscoe’s Associates and hotel partners.
