Van der Valk Hotels opens in Waalwijk

The Van der Valk family has opened a new hotel in Waalwijk. This makes the 82nd location of Van der Valk Hotels & Restaurants in the Netherlands a fact. The four-star hotel is located in the municipality of Sprang-Capelle, a stone’s throw from amusement park De Efteling, the Loonse and Drunense dunes and Waalwijk. Tilburg center can be reached in a few minutes by car from the hotel.

The hotel was built in 2002 by Harry and Marijke Heinrichs. Since 2006 it has been operated by NH-Hotels as NH Waalwijk. “Opening a Van der Valk hotel in that location is a logical step given the strategically good location. Waalwijk is an important hotspot for business travelers and day trips,” says Nick van der Valk (4th generation), who will lead Van der Valk Hotel Waalwijk.
