The famous Atlantis Resort in Dubai is getting family expansion. The “Atlantis 2” is scheduled to open its doors at the end of 2020. While the original already symbolized luxury and over the top excess, the new hotel goes beyond that.
The Royal Atlantis Resort & Residences on Dubai’s Palm as it will officially be called is a 1.2 billion euro investment. The resort consists of 795 rooms and suites spread over 43 floors, private clubs, restaurants and bars.You can also buy an apartment, starting price 2 million euros.
There will be 17 top restaurants and no fewer than 90 (!) swimming pools. The lobby will feature 3 aquariums including the largest jellyfish tank in the world.
