Flight passengers traveling to Turkey must show a negative Covid-19 PCR test result at check-in for their flight. The test should not be older than 72 hours. As of December 30, 2020, this procedure applies to all forms of transportation and all ports of entry (land, air and water). Passengers who cannot provide a valid negative test result will not be allowed on board the flight.
Other travelers who cannot provide a negative PCR test upon entry into Turkey are asked to go into self-quarantine at their specified address (home, hotel, etc). Travelers who do not have accommodations are quarantined by the Turkish Ministry of Health.
Travelers who are quarantined due to the lack of a negative Covid-19 PCR test should be tested on the seventh day of their quarantine period. If the result is negative, the self-quarantine can be lifted. Passengers who test positive for Covid-19 will be treated in accordance with the procedures of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Turkey.
