Accor launches new hybrid meeting concept

Hotel chain Accor launches ‘ALL CONNECT’, a new hybrid meeting concept enabled by Microsoft Teams.
This is an innovative hybrid event concept and should enable seamless physical and virtual meetings worldwide.

This new concept allows guests around the world to adapt to the new ways of working that are expected to be a lasting legacy of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Today, 55% of Accor hotels with meeting rooms already offer their customers hybrid meeting solutions. The new All Connect concept, launched in April 2021, will allow Accor hotels to offer an enriched full experience that re-sets the bar for hybrid meeting experiences. Accor’s ambitious goal is to have 100% of hotels with meeting space meet the new standard for hybrid meetings for all brands, from economy to ultra-luxury worldwide, by 2022.

Combining Accor’s brands and service culture with Teams’ powerful meeting and collaboration technology, this new offering enables corporate clients and meeting planners to combine physical meetings in the hotel with virtual interactions in multiple locations simultaneously. Meetings take place on the Microsoft Teams platform, where participants can interact virtually. In Accor’s meeting rooms, Microsoft Teams Rooms and Surface Hub 2S connect people on-site with those participating remotely with industry-leading audio and video device experiences. People can easily present content and see virtual participants as if they were in the same room. This solution allows Accor guests and their meeting participants to come together through professional, inclusive meeting experiences, wherever they are.

The concept will focus primarily on small meetings (8 to 50 physical participants).
