New in Rotterdam: d’Ouwe Moer

A new MICE location has opened:  d’Ouwe Moer on Rotterdam’s Admiraliteitskade. A pink veranda house with often brightly colored rooms for different gatherings. A meeting ‘suite’, cozy large bar, various breakout rooms and an apartment with living room, bar and bedrooms, accessible via a separate entrance. Anyone who books d’Ouwe Moer for a meeting, event or shoot is assured of an inspiring space in a vibrant location in the middle of Rotterdam.

Father

The design and atmosphere of d’Ouwe Moer are a tribute to the father of the owner of the building. A colorful and vibrant person with a great love for the outdoors, the city of Rotterdam and celebrating memorable moments. The owners of ‘d’Ouwe’ have deliberately not set up the event location as a standard meeting place. Marie-Claire Moerkerk: “The charming building is perfect for this layout and design. Everyone should feel at home at our location. From meetings to a book presentation or lunch with friends: it’s all possible here.”

Book the entire house or one floor
d’Ouwe Moer can be rented as a whole, but has two floors that can also be rented separately. On the ground floor, immediately after the entrance, is the large bar The Admiral with seating for up to 60 people. Behind it are two breakout rooms. At the very back is the garden room The Mary, a meeting room with room for up to 14 people and a suite in one. In the basement, accessible via a staircase in the bar area, is cozy hangout The George. Furnished as a man cave with space for a game or to watch TV undisturbed. On the cozy veranda there is a staircase that leads to the pink apartment on the top floor of d’Ouwe Moer. ‘l’Amoer’ can be booked separately and has sleeping space for two to four people, a dining table, cozy bar with kitchen island and living room. A wonderful place for casual meetings or a brainstorming session, weekend with friends or family getaway in the city.

Goodies from Kaat
For catering, d’Ouwe Moer works closely with direct neighbors Kaat Mossel, Rotterdam’s most famous living room restaurant for lunch and dinner. Wishes for lunch or other snacks can easily be organized from Kaat’s kitchen.
