Awards for BCD and Advito

Leading business travel company BCD Travel and its consulting division Advito are proud to announce that they have won multiple awards at the BTN 2024 Sustainability Summits in America and Europe. This underlines their leadership and innovation in the field of sustainability within the travel industry. At the BTN Sustainability Summit Americas, held on May 8 in New York City, BCD received the award for Achievement in Sustainability – Travel Management Company, while Advito was honored with the Achievement in Advancing Sustainability Data & Reporting award. These awards highlight both companies’ important contributions to reducing the impact of business travel on the environment and improving sustainability reporting. The awards were confirmed at the BTN Sustainability Summit Europe, held in London on May 15, where BCD and Advito once again excelled in their respective categories. “These awards are a testament to the dedication and joint efforts of our teams at BCD and Advito,” said Stephan Baars, CEO of BCD Travel. “We are committed to leading the way in sustainability by deploying innovative solutions that deliver both environmental and business benefits for our customers and the industry as a whole.” The awards recognize a series of recent initiatives from BCD and Advito designed to help customers build sustainable travel programs. These include working with various traveler engagement platforms to bring Advito’s GATE4 data into key online booking tools, creating sustainability ratings of preferred suppliers, delivering workshops to help employees assess their own carbon footprint, and much more. GATE4 is Advito’s ISO-certified Carbon Emissions Calculator that enables customers to accurately measure and report their carbon emissions. “We are very pleased to receive this recognition for our sustainability achievements,” said April Bridgeman, Senior Vice President of BCD and Managing Director of Advito. “This recognition reinforces our commitment to providing our customers with cutting-edge tools and strategies that promote responsible travel and sustainable business operations.”
