Bart van der Heijden new chairman CLC-VECTA

The members of CLC-VECTA appointed Bart van der Heijden (photo right), Director Clients at RAI Amsterdam, as chairman during the GMM (ALV in Dutch) last week. After his earlier accession to the board of CLC-VECTA in 2021, Bart will now take on the role of chairman when Erik-Jan Ginjaar’s term of office has expired. With more than 22 years of experience in various positions at the RAI, Bart is a well-known face in the industry.

During the same members’ meeting, three more new board members were appointed: Eveline van der Pluijm from Rotterdam Partners, Ruben Onderdelinden from Lively and Diederik Haitink from EA Exhibitions joined Saskia Vernooij from Ahoy Rotterdam and Pascal Riphagen from The Inside, who were appointed board members last year. .

Further expansion of the board team
Although Bart has presented a strong and enthusiastic board team to the members, he has expressed the wish to expand the team. “CLC-VECTA is a large association with a considerable diversity in the membership. It is important that the board is a good reflection of the supporters and that members feel represented, according to Bart van der Heijden. “In addition, the departure of Riemer Rijpkema as director means a more active role for the board. In the coming period, we will work with the board and the members to implement this optimally.”
