EasyJet will expand its network from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (AMS) in 2024 and introduce a new summer route to Malta (MLA). From April 30, easyJet will offer flights to the Mediterranean island every two weeks, on Tuesdays and Fridays. The route will remain operational until the end of October 2024, allowing easyJet travelers to enjoy a destination where the sun shines an average of 300 days a year throughout the summer. With the addition of Malta, easyJet brings the total number of destinations from Schiphol to 38.
Malta
Despite its modest size, Malta is a versatile holiday destination. The archipelago is located between Italy and North Africa in the Mediterranean Sea and is about twice the size of Texel. Malta’s popularity as a holiday destination is growing steadily. With pleasant temperatures lasting from April until almost November, when easyJet offers the route, travelers can enjoy sun-drenched beaches, crystal clear waters and a rich history, including a vibrant cultural heritage. For sports enthusiasts, the island offers various diving locations, hiking trails and cliffs.
