Delta and United cut summer schedule in Europe

Delta Airlines is eliminating flights from Orlando and Tampa (Florida) to Amsterdam for next summer season. The flights were scheduled as daily.

The routes are no longer available in the reservation system for this summer. That’s according to Delta’s interim schedule, reports the website Routesonline. The interim schedule for international connections has been updated to June 1/2 and may be updated in the near future.

United Airlines is cutting 32 European routes scheduled for next summer. Some routes are known to restart at the end of October, while others do not yet have a new start-up date. Flights from San Francisco to Amsterdam will be cancelled, those from Washington Dulles and Houston to Amsterdam postponed, until October 24, 2020.

Other airline flights from Amsterdam to other destinations will continue, check with the airlines if desired. ‘Notable in this regard is that the three routes from Chicago, Newark and Washington to Brussels are not affected for the time being,’ writes Flightlevel.be.
