Good news for the event industry. As of July 1, there are no restrictions on the number of attendees at gatherings, as long as 1.5 meters of distance is maintained and a health check is done.
This is reported by the NOS and RTL News based on sources in The Hague. The cabinet was expected to announce the relaxation on Wednesday. Now, because of the corona measures, a maximum of 30 people are allowed to gather. Originally, that number was supposed to go to 100 starting next week, but sources say the cabinet is already going further.
For indoor gatherings, an unlimited number of people will be allowed to attend, as long as the health of the visitors is asked in advance, a so-called triage. In addition, there should be no congestion at the door. If none of these are possible, then a maximum of 100 applies.
Opportunities are also being expanded for outdoor gatherings. If sufficient distance is kept there and triage is held, no more restrictions apply. Without the triage, a maximum of 250 attendees applies.
