British airline FlyBe has filed for bankruptcy. All flights ceased immediately. The airline reports this on its website.
Last year, the long-ailing airline was already rescued by a consortium that included Virgin Atlantic. However, the results hardly improved. The airline flies mainly British regional, but also has flights to Amsterdam. Newquay would become a new destination.
