Garuda Indonesia will be the first airline to include the very latest Airbus A330-900neo in its regular schedule to and from Schiphol. The airline announced this today.
On Thursday, December 12, the first A330neo, originating from Bali and Medan, will land at Schiphol Airport at 07:30. Departure to Medan and Bali will then be at 11:05 am.
For the time being, it will alternate between the A330-200 and A330-900neo, with three flights per week per aircraft type. It will soon be known when Garuda Indonesia will operate all of its 6 flights per week from Schiphol with this modern aircraft. “We’re keeping it exciting for a while to see what the cabin of our new A330neo will look like,” indicates Sales Manager Europe Rick Wouters, “but that it will be a whole new look for us, I can already reveal.”
Garuda Indonesia has chosen a Business Class cabin with 24 lie flat seats, in a 1-2-1 arrangement, with all seats having direct aisle access. Economy Class consists of 277 seats in the very popular 2 – 4 – 2 arrangement. The A330neo series is best known for their new, fuel-efficient engines.
