Paul Riemens (CEO) and Maurits van der Sluis (COO) have been appointed to the new statutory board of RAI Amsterdam. As of April 7, they are the new board members of the Amsterdam exhibition and conference center. Riemens will hold the role of chairman in this.
As of May 1, Hans Bakker, current top executive of RAI Amsterdam, will step down after 14 years.
Paul Riemens has worked in the aviation sector as CEO of Air Traffic Control the Netherlands (LVNL) since 2008. The future COO of RAI Amsterdam has held various positions within the exhibition and convention center since 1996 and is currently still working as commercial director at the RAI Convention Centre.
