Poland launches online guide for meeting planners

Looking ahead to “post-coronavirus” times, the Poland Convention Bureau has launched the first edition of Poland: Online Site Inspection, a comprehensive online guide for meeting planners.

It enables event organizers to interactively and individually explore the many convention, conference and event facilities that Poland has to offer – anywhere in the world and at any time.

Due to the ongoing pandemic of the coronavirus, new rules were introduced to prevent the spread of the disease. As a result, many organizers announce their plans to move meetings and events to a later date. In addition, some events are being rescheduled and a different format is being used, taking advantage of the online tools available.

Municipal and regional convention offices regularly monitor the situation in particular cities and regions. Supported by the Poland Convention Bureau of the Polish Tourist Board, the CBs are implementing new solutions designed to help destinations stay relevant to foreign and Polish meeting planners.

‘Our guide to meetings is an introduction to Poland’s conference and event potential. It contains information on the best and most recommended locations and service providers operating in Poland. In addition, we would also like to encourage all meeting planners to contact the regional and city convention bureaus – local experts who will be happy to help you with any MICE-related request,” says Robert Andrzejczyk, president of the Polish Tourist Board.
