RoomIt by CWT, the hotel division of Carlson Wagonlit Travel, and SiteMinder, the global acquisition platform for hotel guest recruitment, announce a strategic partnership within the business travel chain. The two leading companies are integrating their services and offering hotels access to RoomIt travelers within the global business travel organization.
The new partnership gives SiteMinder customers access to a wide range of hotels through RoomIt, so more choices.

As the business travel landscape changes, so do the needs and wants of business travelers. More choice is an important factor for many business travelers within corporate hotel programs. Recent research results from RoomIt and GBTA show 60% of business travelers often stay in more luxurious hotels, which provides very lucrative options for hotels.

A pilot is currently being conducted in the United Kingdom and in Italy with SiteMinder customers. The collaboration is expected to be further rolled out globally later this year. To qualify, hotels must be centrally located in a business travel destination, have more than ten rooms, and offer amenities such as in-room Wi-Fi and the ability to cancel on the day.
