During the recently organized Client Event of Kimpton Hotels & Restaurant, once again a large number, meeting & incentive planners, corporate bookers and tour operators were informed about the latest developments within this unique boutique hotel chain that originally had Hotels & Restaurants only in America.
The evening, including workshop, Barista Masterclass, Cocktail shaking and walking dinner took place at the Kimpton De Witt Amsterdam, at the time the first Kimpton hotel in Europe!
From the Americas, Elliot Martinez, City Director of International Sales New York, and Christine McAree Director Int Sales Mid Atlantic & South had come over to attend this event and personally brief guests on the latest novelties of existing and new hotels within the Kimpton portfolio.
The recently opened Kimpton Fitzroy, London and Kimpton Charlotte Square in Edinburgh were also represented by their local sales managers. There was considerable interest in both locations.
Unchanged and highly valued by guests are the “Kimpton signatures”, the USPs.
Think a free wine hour every day at 5 in every Kimpton Hotel, free yoga mats in every hotel room, free bikes available in almost every hotel, to name a few.
This evening at De Witt also introduced the renovated Super Lyan Bar & Garden, where the event took place.
For those interested, there was a tour of the hotel, this was much used.
There were unanimously very positive reactions to the look and feel of the hotel but also the service, the luxury snacks and the overall atmosphere was highly appreciated.
At the end of the evening 7 lucky winners went home with a beautiful voucher for, among other things, overnight stays in various Kimpton Hotels in the USA, UK and Amsterdam.
