The Judgment House first Van der Valk with five stars

The Judgment House in Roermond has become the first Van der Valk hotel to achieve five-star status. On September 30, the Arrested House will officially adopt this status. Hotel stars are issued by the Hotelstars Union, the holder of the European Hotel Classification.

“We are very proud and pleased to have achieved five stars,” said Rob Polman of The Judgment House. Since its opening in 2011, the team of The Judgment House, led by Hotel Manager Rianne Balkestein, has been striving for a high level of quality, experience and hospitality with an approachable approach. “Also, it is in keeping with the ambitions we are pursuing with our restaurant Damianz, where chef Jeroen van Gansewinkel and maître Martijn Bakker hold sway,” Polman said.

Het Arresthuis is the second hotel in Limburg to achieve five-star status. There are a total of 31 hotels in the Netherlands with the same status. To achieve this status, the hotel meets the high criteria requirements of service and services associated with it.
