Tourists welcome back in Greece by July 1

Greece is reopening its borders to tourists from the European Union, Schengen countries and Israel no later than July 1. This was announced by the Greek Ministry of Tourism.

The current restrictions will likely be lifted in mid-June. More details will follow this week.

International flight connections with several countries will resume as early as the last week of May. Arriving passengers are not required to undergo quarantine or virus testing.

However, protective masks are mandatory and distance rules apply at airports. Travelers must also complete a complete form about their health status.
