an incentive sec with the ladies? A first in Spain. Recently, the first “women-only” hotel opened its doors on the island of Mallorca. The Som Dona Hotel near Porto Cristo exclusively welcomes women 14 years and older.
The hotel has 39 bright rooms, a pool, a spa, a library and a rooftop terrace. The De Som Dona promotes itself as a welcoming hotel for women of all sexual orientations, solo and group travelers, couples and mothers with their daughters.
Although the hotel welcomes only female guests and even has a strict policy against gentlemen visiting during the day (or night), some staff members are still male to ensure that the hotel complies with Spanish legislation on gender discrimination.
