How to get there?

International visitors to Budapest usually arrive at Ferenc Liszt International Airport. The city centre is easily accessible via many transportations means. You can take a taxi, use the shuttle bus service or simply use public transport. Budapest’s public transport is one of the best systems of any European capital. Once you have arrived in Budapest, there are various possibilities to reach the city centre, with taxis, a shuttle bus service or car rental companies at your disposal, but you can also use public transport.

The MICE offer

The largest expo-center is HUNGEXPO Budapest Congress and Exhibition Center. It can host events up to 15.000 people and has 50 000 sqm event area. It has 8 event/exhibition halls ranging from 700 to 20.000 sqm. It is brand new! The New Congress Center Development Project was completed in September 2021

Another large option is the Budapest Congress Center. The Plenary room welcomes up to 2.000 people and counts 4000 sqm exhibition space. There are also 20 meeting rooms. Staying the night? The center is located next to Novotel Budapest City with 319 bedrooms.

Hotels and venues

There is room for everyone, and most hotels have meeting possibilities of their own.  The Hotel room capacity in Budapest: is 15,000 rooms. And if we categorize this: 2700 hotel rooms in 5* and non-rated category, 7600 hotel rooms in 4* category and 2500 hotel rooms in 3* category. And more is to come: 4,400 new hotel rooms in the 3, 4, 5 star categories on the way by 2025. Of course there is a wonderful array of spectacular venues. Small, large, historical, trendy. Budapest has it all, for every kind of meeting.
