Pulitzer Amsterdam, known for its timeless elegance and historic charm, announces the opening of its latest offering with the Merchant Suite – the hotel’s largest suite to date – the Collector’s Suites with Flower and Porcelain themes, and a special step in the world of beauty and wellness with The Beauty House.
Located between the picturesque Prinsengracht and Keizersgracht, this iconic hotel extends over twenty-five interconnected 17th and 18th century canal houses in the heart of the vibrant canal belt. Inspired by the Dutch Golden Age, Creative Director Jacu Strauss shows a blend of authentic Amsterdam design with contemporary luxury and modern influences.
Located over three floors in one of the 17th century canal houses, this spacious suite offers a beautiful sitting and dining room, three bedrooms and three bathrooms, with a special view over the Keizersgracht. An overnight stay includes personal concierge services, private transfers offered, and other luxurious amenities such as a stocked wine cabinet.
The Merchant Suite is an eclectic mix of contemporary design and vintage charm. The building has retained its original windows and the visible beams of the canal house. Jacu Strauss combines beautiful works of art from local artists and collectors with special furniture, with chairs from the Dutch Moooi and lighting from Chelsom.
