Succesful SITE Global Conference in Istanbul

The Society for Incentive Travel Excellence (SITE), the leading association for incentive tourism, organized the 2024 Global Conference in Istanbul from February 26 to 29. The conference, held in Türkiye for the first time this year as a global event, brought together travel industry leaders from around the world to network, exchange ideas and find innovative ways to shape the future of the industry.

The Global Conference is SITE’s premier event bringing together the incentive travel industry. With more than 2,600 members spread across 87 countries, the Global Conference welcomes participants from all over the world. The 2024 conference attracted approximately 500 industry professionals. Various topics were discussed, ranging from the future of travel to the latest trends in technology with a special focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Destination Marketing. In addition to conferences, the three-day event also offered networking opportunities, giving participants valuable opportunities to connect with experts in the field of incentive tourism, discover the latest trends through various training courses and exchange ideas with colleagues in the industry.

The Türkiye Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the Türkiye Tourism Promotion and Development Agency (TGA) supported the event to showcase the destination with its many incentive locations and unique experiences, with the aim of attracting more incentive groups to Türkiye in the future.
