The Hoxton opens in Berlin

The Hoxton has opened its newest European hotel in Berlin, unveiling a 234-room hotel in Charlottenburg.Minutes from the city’s shopping boulevard Ku’damm, the property was designed by AIME Studios, Ennismore’s own design firm, with interiors that combine Art Nouveau aesthetics with Brutalist silhouettes and textures. Dubbed “raw nouveau,” the design features unrefined plaster walls, Art Deco light fixtures, and vintage furnishings, along with industrial materials and emerald green tiles.

Facilities include a winter garden in the hotel lobby, the North Indian-inspired House of Tandoor restaurant and the adjoining The Teahouse, which transforms from a cafe into a cocktail bar at nightfall. The hotel’s three-room meeting and event space, The Apartment, is located under the eaves of the hotel and is centered around a central pantry kitchen.
